ATC Gallery presents the exciting world premiere of playwright Laura Jacqmin's "Pluto Was a Planet", exclusively commissioned by Around the Coyote for their Wicker Park gallery space and directed by Megan Shuchman.
It's past midnight when Sabrina and Eugene are abducted from their dorm rooms at an elite Ivy League university. The school's most exclusive secret society is ready to open its doors to the pair, but first members Abe and Cecilia will subject the newbies to a final test. As the evening unravels, all four students have to decide how much they're willing to sacrifice in order to belong. Pluto is a scathing look at men and women in a world of too-high standards and too-small rewards. The show runs approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
"Pluto Was a Planet" will open Saturday, July 26th and close Saturday, August 9th, the show will run on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm at the ATC Gallery located at
1935 W. North Avenue. Previews will run on Thursday, July 24th and Friday, July 25th at 8pm. There will be a $15 suggested donation for general admission and a reduced ticket price of $10
