In my paintings I do not aim to reproduce the world as it is, but to express the inner feelings of the characters in my paintings or the essence of the objects and scenes that capture my eye. The feelings that I have felt or witnessed stop being solely mine through the action of putting them on canvas. The viewers interpret the paintings according to their own experiences, making them their own as they interpret them and identify with them.
