Around the Coyote Exhibitions is proud to host the ArtVoices Magazine 1st Annual Emerging Artists Competition and Exhibition. After receiving hundreds of submissions from all over the country, Juror and World Renowned Artist Willie Birch selected 8 finalist to participate in the 1st ever ArtVoices Emerging Artists competition. The finalist selected are James Taylor Bonds, Bruce Davenport, Randell Henry, Chris Martin, Colin Meneghini, Luke Rocha, Maxx Sizeler and Jeanne Umbdenstock

ArtVoices Magazine is committed to the nurturing process of Emerging Artists and their vision. Besides creating an opportunity for Artists in all mediums to get their work where the public can view it, ArtVoices wants to create opportunities that would serves as a catalyst in promoting dialogue between Artists, Curators, Collectors and Gallerists worldwide

The show begins Saturday, October 3rd, with an Opening Reception from 6-9pm. Artist Willie Birch and ArtVoices Editor and Publisher Terrence Sanders will be in attendance.

Gallery Hours are M-F, by appointment only between the hours of 10am and 4pm.

Around the Coyote's 2000 sq. ft. gallery hosts monthly emerging art exhibitions, an artist residency, and performances of new theatre, music, and film.
Around the Coyote, a 501(c)3 non-profit, supports, promotes and makes accessible Chicago's multidisciplinary arts community. Our activities enhance public discourse and provide creative outlets for emerging artists. Year-round programming includes multi-media arts festivals featuring visual art, theater, dance, video and poetry in the spring and fall; art exhibitions in the Around the Coyote gallery; an artist-in-residence program; membership opportunities for artists and art aficionados; educational outreach for all ages through multi-media art workshops, lectures, collaborations with local schools and agencies, and career development workshops for artists. This programming is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency, and the CityArts Program 2 grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.
