Fall Arts Festival
October 16-18 Around the Coyote is pleased to present its 2009 Fall Arts Festival in Wicker Park during the weekend of October 16-18. Around the Coyote will present over 100 artists working in a variety of disciplines: visual artists working with painting, drawing, and photography; as well as performing artists working with poetry, music, film, video, and new media. The Fall Arts Festival exhibits in unique venues such as vacant storefronts to bring a sense of vitality to otherwise forgotten spaces. iGo Car Sharing is the only non-profit, locally based car sharing service in Chicago. I-GO’s 12,000+ members have access to 200 low-emission, fuel-efficient vehicles in more than 30 neighborhoods across Chicago, Evanston, and Oak Park. Members don’t pay for gas, insurance, or reserved parking spaces, and reserve cars online or by phone for trips lasting from a half hour to all day. Members may choose either a standard I-GO smart card that accesses every car in I-GO's fleet or the new Chicago Card Plus/I-GO Card, a joint initiative between I-GO and CTA that accesses I-GO cars, CTA trains and buses, and Pace buses—effectively expanding the range of public transit. I-GO’s cars range from hatchbacks to compact SUVs to plug-in electric cars. I-GO’s mission includes extending car sharing to every community in the Chicagoland area. |
